MYP 1 Field Trip: Exploring Science in Action at the Sewage Treatment Plant

MYP 1 students recently embarked on an engaging field trip to the school’s Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and swimming pool, where they observed real-world applications of separation techniques in action.

From witnessing the water filtration processes to collecting STP water samples for pH testing, the trip brought science lessons to life. Students not only saw theory in practice but also gained a deeper understanding of sustainable practices and the importance of water treatment in preserving resources.
