Sapling Planting and Wheat Plucking

The boys of MYP4 and MYP5, who belong to the Zambezi Residence, had an enriching and educational experience in the planting area on the school campus. They participated in various activities such as planting saplings and plucking wheat, which allowed them to witness firsthand how plants are grown and cared for.

During this hands-on activity, the boys learned about the critical importance of soil health and the essential care plants require to thrive. This practical knowledge was complemented by discussions on environmental sustainability, helping the students make connections between their classroom learning and real-world applications.

The boys gained a deeper understanding of how plants and trees play a vital role in maintaining ecological balance and supporting sustainable living. This experience highlighted the importance of preserving natural resources and inspired the students to think about their role in environmental conservation.

Overall, the activity was not only productive but also transformative. It allowed the students to engage in meaningful learning outside the classroom, fostering a deeper appreciation for nature and sustainability. This experience shaped their minds, encouraging them to adopt more eco-friendly practices and reinforcing the significance of environmental stewardship in their daily lives.
