Day 2 @ Thailand Summer Camp
Today marks the beginning of an exciting journey for our visiting students, and we extend our warmest wishes for a memorable and enriching experience ahead.
In our primary school, students quickly familiarise themselves with their new classmates, guided by their assigned buddies who introduced them to the class. Immersed in various subjects, they eagerly tackled tasks, including a sheet on addition and subtraction. Meanwhile, as our PYP 5 students enter the final phase of their Exhibition journey, Jedda and Sego join their buddies in preparations, observing and absorbing the collaborative efforts shaping the upcoming event.
In middle school, an engaging Identity Quilt/Patchwork activity encouraged students to explore the multifaceted layers of their identity. Each student creatively adorned a fabric square with symbols, colours, and images reflecting their cultural heritage, personal beliefs, and more. After school, students relished the outdoors, cycling through the verdant campus, bonding with resident parents, and basking in the serene beauty of nature.
Later, back at the residences, students enjoyed quality time with furry companions, experiencing the universal language of love shared with animals. A campus walk under the starlit sky capped off the day, leaving students with cherished memories and eager anticipation for the days ahead.
