Welham Invitational Tournament

From September 1st to September 4th, the Pathways U-19 girls' Basketball team participated in the 5th Diamond Jubilee Welham’s Basketball tournament. The tournament followed a league format, where each team played against three other teams, and those with victories would qualify for the semi-finals. Pathways had their first match against Welham Girls’ Blue team, which ended in a narrow defeat of 36-39. Despite this close loss, the Pathways girls demonstrated unwavering resilience and refused to let their spirits falter. On the same day, following this match, the girls secured a victory against the Lawrence School, Sanawar, with a score of 25-15.

Overall, the tournament served as an opportunity for the team to bond, and the players improved their coordination. Although the girls did not qualify for the semi-finals, they achieved a commendable 5th position in the entire tournament. We extend our best wishes to them for their future endeavors.
