Independence Day Celebrations

The 'tryst with destiny' happened on the 15th of August 1947, and as we commemorated the 76th Independence Day in school, our hearts filled with pride and respect for our nation. The security team marched in, followed by our powerful girls' contingent team. The Secondary School Principal – Miss Manjula Shenoi, along with the General Manager, Col Rajiv Saxena, and Head of Boarding - Mr. Ashish Arora, unfurled the National Flag at 7:50 AM as the proud gathering chorused the National Anthem with patriotic fervor. In quick succession, the Korean National Anthem celebrated their independence with the same fervor.

The celebration of our national festival flowed into melodious patriotic songs, dance, and speeches by our students and staff. Miss Shenoi emphasized the power of freedom and inspired us with her thought-provoking words.

The intensity of the patriotic feeling is always contagious. It is an occasion to assess our present and reflect on our way forward, “Mazhab nahi sikhata, aapas mein bair rakhna, Hindi hai hum watan Hai, Hindustan hamara”
